                <text> EN- The Waco Aircraft Company of Troy, Ohio was a major manufacturer of aircraft in the U. S. from 1928 - 1935. Beginning in 1921 as the Weaver Aircraft Company they moved to Troy in 1924 and became the Advance Aircraft Company keeping the Waco logo.  Built in 1930, this airplane is the oldest flying in Western Canada, and one of a few Waco INF's in the world. It was originally used for "corporate flying" by a Seattle based washing machine salesman, and visited B.C. air shows in the 1930's. It then passed through 16 owners in 20 years, arriving in B.C. in 1972.FR-La Waco Aircraft Company de Troy, dans l'Ohio, a été l'un des principaux constructeurs d'avions aux États-Unis entre 1928 et 1935. Créée en 1921 sous le nom de Weaver Aircraft Company, elle s'installe à Troy en 1924 et devient Advance Aircraft Company, tout en conservant le logo Waco.                 <text>EN- The Waco Aircraft Company of Troy, Ohio was a major manufacturer of aircraft in the U. S. from 1928 - 1935. Beginning in 1921 as the Weaver Aircraft Company they moved to Troy in 1924 and became the Advance Aircraft Company keeping the Waco logo.  Built in 1930, this airplane is the oldest flying in Western Canada, and one of a few Waco INF's in the world. It was originally used for "corporate flying" by a Seattle based washing machine salesman, and visited B.C. air shows in the 1930's. It then passed through 16 owners in 20 years, arriving in B.C. in 1972.FR-La Waco Aircraft Company de Troy, dans l'Ohio, a été l'un des principaux constructeurs d'avions aux États-Unis entre 1928 et 1935. The Fairchild 71 was originally built in the United States from 1928-1930. A second Canadian factory was built in Montreal Quebec in 1929, to supply the Canadian bush flying industry. The 71s would serve the early years of Canadian bush flying, and five of them would serve in the Yukon Territory.
